I was wondering when the mom was going to make a reappearance and now I'm intrigued to see where this is going in the next book. Logan oh what can I say about him?! Well I love him to pieces. He was his awesome charm as usual funny and super badass. The love between these two brothers is ridiculous I love them so much. Logan loves his brother so much he also hide things from Mason and tried to protect both him and Sam from Park. Poor Nate does get hurt again and it made me so sad for him and then Logan gets hurt and omg I was all full of anger and so pissed at Park I thought I hated him before but I was wrong I hate him more now.The best part was we got a teaser on Logan's Kades book coming this Winter. I want it now!! I'm dying to know who tames this boy!! I hope it's someone new. Characters- Nate is now this emotionally detached man, that has trouble feeling emotions. This is due to his shitty parents, his brother’s death, and his friends who froze him out after he returned home. Say what? In the previous books, Nate mentioned several times that he had great parents. They weren’t around a ton, but he always said they were loving. Also, Nate was never on the outside (until he acted like a jerk with the Parker & Sebastian situations) Logan was actually jealous when he returned, because Mason and Nate were such buds. And, when did his brother die? I just reread the entire series, and I would think I could remember if Nate was dealing with the death of his brother after returning his senior year. her face grew hard. “Nova is mine now. Sign those papers, and you can go on and have a child with someone else.” Mason!” Matteo yelled again. He had moved closer. A small ring of people continued to surround him, but there was an opening for us. “Roommate pay per view.” As he shouted each word, his ass twerked up and down. Logan would do what he did. He’d investigate him, maybe send a text or make a call to his father, who had some questionable connections, and he’d relay to me what he was told by the people who knew the answers. This would either happen over this phone call or later this weekend. After that, Logan would want to make up a plan on how to “handle” this guy because in Logan’s family, that was what they did. I also kinda felt like there was a big lead up for drama but nothing ever really happened. Compared to the other books I was expecting something pretty huge to happen but it didn’t and everything just kinda worked itself out. The story line also jumps forward a lot which was necessary I suppose for the story but a bit of a pet peeve for me. This was the case for the epilogue as well which I felt was super rushed but a HEA none the less! She was not quite the woman I would imagine for Nate but then again she fitted perfectly into all his layers... Yeah. The rest of the night is a long blur, but I remember having really hot sex." Marissa, a good friend of Mason. He protective of her because he's the reason she had to switch schools a couple years ago. Has a major crush on Mason and pretty much stalks him. Quincy was a professional ballet dancer who dropped everything to take on Nova. Even though her relationship with Valerie was strained she stepped up to the table - which I applaud her for. However, I don't feel like she ever really saw Valerie in the right light. She made it seem like Valerie was a saint and as things progressed between her and Nate she struggled to feel good enough. She kept saying that Valerie should be here. She waffled between being confident and being an absolute mess. I really wanted to like her because she displayed strength and resilience but I struggled with her because she was willing to "keep and stay with Nate for as long as he wanted her even though he would never love her". I needed her to be upfront with Nate, I needed her to confront him fully but she never did. Almost all of Tijan's heroine's have some little bit of doormatness in then and this is where her's was.... Nate with a girlfriend (I wanna see him end up with some soft, albeit feisty, girl, but I still want it to be unexpected) If you’re a fan of the Fallen Crest High series, Nate is a book you have been waiting a long time for. Or at least I have been. I’ve always been curious about Mason and Logan’s best friend. He went through some STUFF with them, and I was curious what went on in his mind. I also wanted him to find a love like Mason and Sam or Logan and Taylor. To say I was excited to get Nate would be an understatement. Did Nate live up to my expectations?
